About the Position: The position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE), WITH DUTY AT FORT LIBERTY (BRAGG), NORTH CAROLINA . The "Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Public transportation and free parking is available.
Duties
Provide guidance on overall administrative policies, requirements and objectivities.
Develop replies to inquiries by interpreting regulations, policies, procedures, and precedent decisions.
Respond to callers and visitors to the office, providing a wide variety of information concerning personnel and administrative issues.
Prepare a variety of written documents to include reports, correspondence and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- This position requires a Secret Clearance.
- Work hours will vary in order to meet training requirements. These hours may consist of overtime, night weekend, and/or holiday work, and may require the incumbent to work alternate or flexible work schedules in support of cyclic training schedules.
- This position may require some temporary duty (TDY) travel less that 10% of the time.
- A valid driver's license is required to operate light duty vehicles. The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a valid drivers' license.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing administrative functions in an office, providing guidance on administrative policies and regulations, and prepares correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and statistical data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
