This position is located in Glen Canyon Recreation Area in the Facility Maintenance Division.
Duties
Operates sewage pump truck to clean and maintain comfort station/micro flush toilets and septic tanks.
Performs custodial duties of cleaning building, comfort station, empties trash and restocking comfort stations.
Performs a full range of work involving the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and related fixtures and utilities and daily water and lift station rounds.
Performs plumbing tasks such as replacing hose bibs, valves, nipples, unions and elbows, fixtures.
Performs electrical tasks involving making repairs that can be accomplished by removing, replacing, tightening, splicing, and insulating defective wiring and fixtures.
Operates and performs operator maintenance on cars, trucks, and/or van and stake trucks to pick up supplies, and to transport materials to and from work sites while assisting on project work.
Qualifications
SELECTIVE FACTOR: This position operates and performs operator maintenance on cars, sewage pumper truck, and/or van and stake trucks. May also operate a dump truck and forklift. The existence of this position as motor vehicle operator requires a driver's license at the time of the appointment, and you must be able to maintain. If you do not have a valid driver's license or not currently in the process of obtaining a driver's license, you will not be eligible for this position. (SCREEN OUT)

In preparing your application, describe in detail your experience in performing maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds fixtures and utilities, to include: (1) repairs and installation of utility systems, (2) maintains state water and wastewater licenses, (3) Performs plumbing on water tanks, floats and potable water systems and related equipment such as mains, valves, storage tanks, (4) performs electrical wiring necessary to maintain existing single or three phase. Experience should be clearly described and documented in your resume. The qualifications reviewer will not assume performance of such duties by Job Titles alone.
