About the Position: The installation rests in the beautiful 'hill and lake' country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove and is approximately 60 miles north of the capital city of Austin, 50 miles south of Waco, 160 miles south of Dallas, and 150 miles north of San Antonio. Duties

Manage the operation of a security program entailing the protection of people, government property, conventional weapons, ammunition, and explosives in static storage, enroute, and shipment preparation. Evaluate and make recommendations concerning the use of physical security equipment (PSE). Review the physical security plans and performs onsite technical assistance visits, inspections, and surveys of weapons/ammunition/explosives storage areas and other facilities. Determine if security plans meet regulatory requirements and recommend corrective action or additional types of protection. Review policies and directives from higher authority and develop and recommend implementation procedures and guidelines for Command.
