You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Information Dominance Directorate intelligence Division of NAVY WARFARE DEVELOPMENT.
Duties
You will establish and enforce local physical security policy and procedures for the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
You will interpret and implement the physical security guidance received from higher authority pertaining to SCIFs.
You will be responsible for meeting initial and periodic SCIF accreditation and inspection requirements and reporting results to appropriate outside agencies.
You will develop command policy and procedures for control of SCI material including its. Safeguarding, cataloguing, dissemination and disposal.
You will review completed Security Violation Reports to ensure the appropriate access-related administrative actions and reporting occurs with respect o SCI-cleared personnel.
You will manage the applicant of DCID 6/4 eligibility standards for the command?s SCI-cleared personnel.
You will be responsible for tracking the timely submission of comprehensive Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) inputs for assigned personnel requiring SCI access.
You will conduct require SSO interviews prior to submission of SSBI packages.
You will establish procedures for administration of SCI support to DOD SCI contractors, including the processing, reviewing, and approving of DD Form 254 (Contract Security Classification Specification).
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with DoD and DON regulations and policies pertaining to Information Security, Personnel Security, Operations Security, Communication Security, and Counterintelligence, and Counter Terrorism Programs.
Experience with SCI security requirements and security program relationships including SCI Physical, Information and Personnel Security.
Experience and knowledge to analyze and resolve complex and difficult SCI security situations/problems.
Experience with assessing current situations, establishing requirements, and guidelines for local application in each program area.
Experience with assisting subordinate activities in developing plans and programs to establish sound security procedures.
