You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (NETWORK) in the SE & ALRE GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE LABS & INFRASTRUCTURE BRANCH (BL33300).
Duties
You will ensure the RDTE network is compliant with INFOSEC related mandates issued or directed by DISA, NETWARCOM, the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DON), or NAVAIR.
You will develop short and long range acquisition plans and strategies for IT hardware or software, network security tools, emerging network technologies or other related efforts.
You will provide specialized network support activities in support of all SE and ALRE programs and PMT activities as required.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintain contingency plans, hardware accountability, software versioning information, detailed network diagrams, network port and protocol mapping and any other required artifacts necessary for Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and Continuous Monitoring (CM) activities to ensure DoD Cybersecurity compliance. 2) Develop short and long range acquisition plans and strategies for IT hardware or software, network security tools, emerging network technologies or other related efforts. 3) Manage RDT&E Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity via the Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN) to include internal routing and switching protocols and internet routing activities. 4) Maintain all wired and wireless infrastructure appliances including routers, switches, and wireless access points. 5) Serve as the liaison to the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) for DREN connectivity activities and to coordinate access to supercomputing resources for our SE and ALRE engineering community. 6) Establish computer and communication performance levels by analyzing equipment, software reliability and utilization reports. Conduct network simulations using modeling techniques and network benchmark tools for baseline analysis, performance measurement, and data evaluation.
