You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE), SE & ALRE Group of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Duties

You will utilize advanced IT principles, concepts, methods, standards and practices. You will communicate complex technical requirements to non-technical personnel. You will develop solutions to integration/interoperability issues You will prepare and present briefings to senior management officials.

Requirements

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Systems Security AnalysT, proficiency level I the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing, implementing, and coordinating activities designed to ensure, protect, and restore IT systems, services and capabilities; Implementing IT security policies and procedures in the development and operation of network systems; Certifying systems or networks to ensure coordination and/or collaboration on security activities are sufficient to integrate information systems security with other security disciplines; Making decisions or recommendations that significantly influence important agency IT policies or programs. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
