The position is located within FAA Logistics Center, in the Radar Product Group (AJW-L910).
Duties
The incumbent will have program responsibility for managing multiple large, high visibility programs for services based and/or product line based segments of an FAA Logistics Center customer's business. Develop, prepare, and maintain project/program deliverables. Coordinate program objectives with the management team, employees and customers on strategies to support the customer through the application of advanced concepts in logistics, supply chain fulfillment, acquisition, software development/ procurement, hardware development/procurement, engineering and provisioning. Communicate regularly with the management team on the budget, schedule, and quality of products and services delivered within the programs managed.

Specialized experienceis experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.Specialized Experience : Communicate effectively to target audiences; experience with applying concepts in logistics, supply chain fulfillment, acquisition, software development/ procurement, hardware development/procurement, engineering and/or provisioning; Developing and interpreting policy; experience utilizing appropriation law/franchise funding rules and regulations associated with budget, service order agreements, and procurement; Recommending solutions to complex issues; establish and maintain schedules; well versed on alternatives to reallocating funds; develop briefings and presentations on program/project status.AND QUALITY RANKING FACTOR: Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): It was determined that well-qualified applicants will have experience demonstrated in their resume with two of the three below.Possess a management certification (e.g. CAPM', PMP', PgMP, PMI-SP', PM-RMP') or project/program management certifications through other federal agencies (e.g. FAA P/PM,FAC P/PM, DAWIA)Experience collaborating/leading others who have achieved documented, quantifiable and significant improvements in customer funded programs through service level agreements (service orders) within franchise fund environment and government appropriation lawExperience in developing acquisition documents related to system sustainment to include initial procurementsApplicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
