Serves as a Management and Financial Analyst in the Office of Airports, Airports Improvement Program Division AWP610, providing interpretation and direction for the implementation of the Airport Improvement Program (AIP).
Duties
Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. May act as a contributing specialist on large work activities or as a project manager or team leader for large projects/programs/activities.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS-12. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience: Experience in managing grants, including compliance with federal grant requirements, procurement standards, and design and construction standards.Experience in performing complex analysis and evaluation of financial programs, resulting in data which can be utilized by management to improve financial effectiveness and efficiency.Experience communicating FAA positions on policies and procedures internally and externally, such as serving as a subject matter expert for grant program improvement initiatives and participating on national working groups.Experience preparing reports, briefings and detailed documents for presentation to high level government officials, external entities, congressional staff and others.In addition to the above, this vacancy has a Quality Ranking Factor, listed below.
