You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the COMMANDER FLEET READINESS CENTERS, DEPT OF THE NAVY of COMFLTREADCEN.
Duties
You will negotiate with internal and external contacts to settle programmatic issues.
You will brief program status to all levels of personnel within an organization.
You will oversee the development of program plans for technical cost, schedule and performance objectives.
You will facilitate resolution of issues impacting the progress or costs of a program.
You will coordinate with stakeholders to develop strategies for generating contract requirements for program objectives.
You will collaborate with personnel (e.g., senior leaders, stakeholders) to complete the scope or objectives of a program.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Independently analyzing and resolving difficult issues in the assigned area of responsibility involving work methods, data management, depot maintenance cost, performance and scheduling; 2) Collaborating across departments, services, sites and commands to execute plans and strategies that support the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV), and Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) cost savings goals; 3) Establishing relationships across the NAVAIR, FRCs, Supply, and CNAF communities, while applying corporate knowledge to resolve depot maintenance issues and remove production barriers. 4) Providing guidance as appropriate, to ensure FRC's capture and report capability, costs, equipment, manpower, performance, and other relevant data.
