This position serves as the NAWCWD Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Coordinator, and is an advisor to the NAWCWD Commander, Executive Director, and Chief of Staff
Duties
You will coordinate the efforts of the Financial Management Control and Operational Control to evaluate the status of internal controls over reporting and level of assurance over operations.
You will conduct annual risk assessments and prepare and submit NAWCWDs annual Statement of Assurance (SOA).
You will advise NAWCWD leadership on the implementation of the IRM governance, coordination and support needed to establish and sustain an effective IRM program.
You will analyze and develop plans, strategies, and methodologies to determine the effectiveness of NAWCWD policies and compliance according to DON and NAVAIR strategy and priorities.
You will provide guidance for internal control objectives in coordination with Command leadership and subordinate commands based on the integrated risk assessment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (DA-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Program Analyst. Specialized experiences must duties related to the following: (1) Demonstrating experience with the implementation and execution of governance processes; (2) Demonstrating experience with Risk Management programs and mitigation strategies to advise leadership on program requirements and expected outcomes; (3) Exhibiting experience with Financial and Operational areas; and (4) Applying analytical skills in supporting data collection and recommendations for executive decision making.
