This position is in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., NW., Washington, DC, in the Office of Audit, Inspections, Evaluations, and special Projects (IESP) Division, at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Duties
Communicating relevant information to agency officials, team members, internal stakeholders, and congressional staff, during formal and informal presentations, meetings, and/or interviews;
Writing?reports and other written products that effectively communicate information and findings;
Interviewing agency officials to obtain testimonial evidence to support findings and conclusions;
Developing findings and conclusions based on analyses;
Learning new and complex material quickly to understand issues;
Interviewing agency officials to obtain testimonial evidence to support findings and conclusions;
Planning, prioritizing, and balancing your work assignments to carry out required activities and meet timelines;
Identifying or developing methodologically sound techniques to evaluate programs;

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-13 Level: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: (1) Developing project plans, executing plans, gathering and analyzing data, documenting results, and developing recommendations based on findings to increase efficiency and effectiveness; (2) Leading projects, assigning team member tasks to ensure activities completed on schedule and in compliance with federal inspection and evaluation quality standards; (3) Written and oral communication techniques to effectively present findings, recommendations, and negotiate solutions; (4) Managing interagency relationships with senior personnel; and (5) Developing, communicating, and analyzing requests for information and data calls.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience relevant to the position's duties to be filled, including volunteer experience.
