About the Position: This position is located at the Logistics Readiness Center at Fort Leonard Wood. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, Missouri. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is a little more than an hour's drive to the West of Fort Leonard Wood.
Duties
Maintain and update unit delegation of authority for issue or turn-in.
Maintain property book to include accuracy of entries recorded.
Serve as appointments clerk to coordinate individual and unit issue/turn-in appointments.
Receive and process individual and unit rosters of issues or turn-ins to include actual data input and preparation of issue worksheets.
Assist property book/accountable officer in the safeguarding of property under Central Issue Section control.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent is subject to a medical clearance examination prior to employment. This position may require an annual physical or medical surveillance examination.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. General Experience: One year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as, using automated supply systems, entering data into the database, maintaining files, reports and/or documents.

Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university (Note: You must upload a copy of your transcripts).
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages (Note: You must upload a copy of your transcripts).
