Incumbent serves as Program Support Assistant under the North East CBOC leadership to support the Patient Aligned Care Teams (PACT) and ancillary clinics located within the CBOC. Incumbent provides administrative support for the delivery of primary care services and operations management.
Duties
Major Duties:
Act as Service Level Advocate, acting to alleviate any patient complaints prior to being escalated to higher offices.
Independently manage position responsibilities with little supervision.
Perform work related to the acquisition and/or development of program information, resources materials, and personnel to support the activities of the PACT program and ancillary services.
Maintains the facility PACT metric dashboard.
Prepares and maintains PACT clinic profiles.
Updates reports daily.
Tracks and maintains the PACT Nursing competencies.
Transcribes dictation of minutes of various meetings.
Serves as primary timekeeper for nursing staff within the CBOC.
Prepares work order requests.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:45 pm

Qualifications

You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-04 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: managing all PACT and Ancillary Services office administrative tasks such as schedule management, filing, coordinating meetings, composing letters and memorandums; independently manage position responsibilities with little supervision; completes special projects in support of policy development and technical PACT Program and Ancillary Services activities. OR,
Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have successful completion of 4 years of education above high school. (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED) OR,
Combination: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements at grades GS-5.
Typing Proficiency Requirement: In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, applicants for this position, must be a qualified typist and able to type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute samples with three or fewer errors. The typing speed requirement of 40 words per minute may be met by passing the appropriate performance test, presenting a certificate of proficiency from a school or other organization authorized to issue such certificates by the Office of Personnel Management, or by self-certifying your proficiency.

Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment.
Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary. Some work may require movement between offices, hospitals, warehouses, and similar areas for meetings and to conduct work. Work may also require walking/standing, in conjunctions with travel to and attendance at meetings and/or conferences away from the work site. Incumbent may carry and lift light items weighing less than 15 pounds.
