About the Position: Serves within the System Branch under the Business Operations Division, IMCOM G-4. Applies engineering principles to Public Works (PW) management and workflow processes, engineering management systems, and resource programming and allocation process. Applies programmatic and analytical techniques in the development and validation of Public Works system requirements.
Duties
Provides decisions on, and recommendations for, policy improvements, organizational changes, and implementation of resource initiatives.
Prepares and presents recommendations for realignment of roles and missions, related resources, and implementing policy changes which will realign resources, and manpower of the IMCOM to meet current mission needs.
Provides Installation PEG program structure, development, objectives, policies, philosophies, and their interrelatedness, in order to manage and recommend modifications to the ACSIM/ installation program structure.
Ensures laws, regulations, policies, methods, and procedures of the Federal budget process and the DoD PPBES are in order to assist in POM development, defend IMCOM Public Works programs, and identify and recommend needed changes in programs.
Manages the Public Works deployment, sustainment and enhancement development of the Army's General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and ArmyMaintenance.com (ArMA).
Requirements

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes investigating and applying systems and work management efficiencies in the application of work management automation tools. Experience in the sustainment, and enhancement of the General Fund Enterprise Business System, facilities, construction, and general oversight of engineering principles to include the Public Works processes. Experience in managing the Public Works engineering information management systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
