These positions are in the Office of Transit Safety and Oversight (TSO). and will assists FTA with providing safety oversight and program compliance of transit agencies to improve accountability for safety with a systematic and proactive approach to identifying and prioritizing safety risks.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 12, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-11 it must include:
Experience with analyzing or evaluating programs; developing and presenting reports; and solving program or project issues in a team environment.
Experience drafting, reviewing, and editing documents.
Experience conducting research and analyzing data or information.
To qualify for the Grade 13, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-12, it must include:
Experience with evaluating a program for compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Experience with drafting, reviewing, and editing guidance or regulations and communicating requirements to audiences.
In addition to meeting the above specialized experience statements you must meet at least one of the following:
Experience with utilizing analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, to conduct analytical studies and/or projects relating to mission-oriented programs.
Experience developing and supporting various educational improvement initiatives in alignment with 21st Century teaching, learning, and evaluation methods, including assessing educational contexts, developing learning design frameworks, implementation evaluation, and impact evaluation.
To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include:
Experience with utilizing a wide range of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, both qualitative and quantitative to conduct studies and/or projects relating to mission-oriented programs and advising management on decisions affecting policies.
Experience with oral and written communication skills sufficient to present findings and recommendations and deliver briefings on a multitude of subjects to co-workers, executives, and leaders within and outside of the organization.
In addition to meeting the above specialized experience statements you must meet at least one of the following:
Experience leading and conducting various educational improvement initiatives in alignment with 21st Century teaching, learning, and evaluation methods, including assessing educational contexts, developing learning design frameworks, implementation evaluation, and impact evaluation.
Experience in acquisition execution, preparation of documents schedules, FAC PPM Level II, COR Level II or equivalent experience and preparation of performance and financial information.
