You will serve as a V-22 Logistics Management Specialist in the V-22 Fleet Support Team Logistics Division of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will exercise independent decision making in areas of program logistics support to ensure that key performance parameters for supportability are fully supported while minimizing total aircraft program operating costs.
You will understand the symbiotic relationship between the customer, systems engineering and logistics, and how requirements generated in the Capabilities Development Document are flowed to the systems engineering process.
You will develop supporting data and provide comprehensive logistics planning information, logistics plans, recommendations, alternatives, impact statements and performance criteria to Naval Air Systems Command staff.
You will plan, manage, and execute logistics support consistent with established maintenance policy guidelines to achieve readiness, supportability, and affordability goals and objectives.
You will assess program documentation, system designs, and aircraft system interfaces for logistics considerations and generate reviews and provide input to logistics documentation for assigned systems.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Applying supply support concepts and theories to ensure adequate supply and to forecast parts usage and future demand; 2) Provisioning and supplying file maintenance processes in order to follow code changes; 3) Understanding logistics management policies and processes to utilize technical directives and understanding of configuration; 4) Ensuring technical manuals are current through review in order to update processes; 5) Managing logistics workload and plan of work of lower graded employees in order to provide support in both technical and administrative aspects; 6) Creating and analyzing reports in Maintenance Tasks Analysis, Maintenance Plans, Provisioning Requirements and Provisioning Parts List Index.
