This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Deputy Commandant for Operations (DCO), Assistant Commandant for Capabilities, Tactical Deployable Specialized Forces (DSF) Division in the Office of Specialized Capabilities (CG-721), Washington, DC.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you serve as an expert senior analyst or advisor for the Coast Guard's (CG) Digital Forensics and Document & Media Exploitation (DOMEX) program requiring application of qualitative systems, and processes. This also includes research and performance measures on systems capabilities and requirements, management technique and theories.

- Time-in-grade requirements must be met by closing date.
Qualifications
You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Specialized experience must include:
Conducting studies and analyses on matters to improve organizational effectiveness; AND
Serving as liaison or working with federal, state, local agencies, special interest groups to determine common digital forensics capability needs; AND
Providing recommendations for digital forensic collection activities and techniques; AND
Interacting orally and in writing to provide advice and instruction to industry professionals, local, federal, and state agencies on all aspects of digital forensics; AND
Utilizing computer and network equipment, forensic software applications, specialized forensic equipment, programming languages, and computer scripting to support investigative actions.
NOTE: Education cannot be substitute for experience at this grade level.
