About the Position: This position is located with the Soldier Recovery Unit in Fort Stewart, Georgia.

Duties

Maintain Inventory Control Records in an automated system. Receive, store, maintain and issue supplies and equipment. Conduct Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPLs) as needed.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
  • This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons in accordance with Army Regulation 40-562, Chapters 3 and 4.
  • This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain a current military driver's license.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing an automated supply system, such as Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) and Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A), to track supplies; assisting with the accuracy of property loss investigations, such as Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPLs); and preparing supply inventory lists for an organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
