Duties

Operate automated property management systems, perform recurring procedural supply work by using existing policy, work procedures, work methods, or data integrity. Establish supply programs including procurement, record maintenance, storage and distribution, inventory, inspection, classification, identification and disposal of equipment to conduct and assist in associated supply functions. Review administrative property practices and procedures advising on issues/problems. Compile, analyze and summarize frequently changing information relating to property program requirements with short and mandatory suspense requirements. Resolve a variety of conventional supply problems, issues or situations relative to property management and accountability. Monitor property systems and programs, performs reviews and analysis, takes and/or recommends actions involving generally established criteria, methods, techniques and procedures. Works with Government Purchase Card (GPC) program manager to ensure authorized purchases meet requirements of the program and completed GPC request forms are accurate before being sent to the Billing Official

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • This position requires incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid State drivers.
  • This position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 15% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes which includes 1) assisting in preparing procedures for annual inventory; 2) utilizing a supply automated logistics system to review inventory records; and 3) providing support in gathering data relating to loss or damage.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07) OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:Supply or Logistics business or other equivalent field. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
