This position is part of the Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Information Management and Chief Information Officer, Office of Mission Integration. A successful candidate in this position will serve as Cyber Security Assessment Lead, providing technology direction that serves as the foundation for IT modernization across the NNSA by aligning organizational strategies and business processes with enabling technologies.

Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Must meet 3 out of 4 Examples of Specialized Experience: 1. Experience applying cybersecurity principals/laws to organizational requirements. 2. Experience using computer operating systems and network computing systems. 3. Experience related to cybersecurity attack stages (e.g., reconnaissance, scanning, enumeration, gainingaccess, escalation of privileges, maintaining access, network exploitation, covering tracks). 4. Experience communicating orally and written to senior leadership/authorities. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. CTAP/ICTAP candidates: To be considered "well qualified" you must meet all of the requirements as described in this section.
