You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Maintenance Systems Scheduling and Analysis Branch (Code 433), Maintenance Management Division (TRF 430), Planning Department (TRF-400), Trident Refit Facility (TRIREFFAC) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will refit work packages through use of Maintenance Management Information Systems and Class Maintenance Plans to assure complete PM coverage.
You will identify job impact on ship conditions such as dry docking, weapon load, and gather information on Planned Maintenance scheduling inconsistencies and accounts for such conflicts in Refit Work Package.
You will review production reports and online information for PM status and update various scheduling systems.
You will perform refit analysis for maintenance accomplished during the refit against the maintenance schedule.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Heavy workloads and short deadlines for processing work may require the incumbent to work split shifts and overtime.
- Incumbent must obtain/maintain an IT-II level designation.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience reviewing and evaluating planned maintenance information systems; Experience gathering information pertaining to planned maintenance scheduling inconsistencies such as conflicts with work packages; Experience generating job control numbers using information maintenance management systems; Experience reviewing work packages summary reports for new maintenance; Experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing logistics data; Experience assigning maintenance requirement identification with Master File records; Experience developing Initial Work Packages from planned maintenance requirement (PMR) requests, corrective maintenance requests, or component overhaul requests.
