Duties
You will advise management on housing issues and concerns in order to provide suitable resolutions that comply with governing housing regulations and procedures.
You will brief management, contractors, and staff on current and projected housing projects.
You will perform quality assurance inspections on maintenance service contracts to ensure contractual requirements are met.
You will maintain effective working relations with various organizations affiliated with housing management.
You will interpret family housing policies to develop management directives and standards for application by subordinate personnel.
You will evaluate reports to determine improvements, replacements, and additional facility requirements for existing and future planning projects.
You will review expenditures to ensure availability of funding for housing operations programs and projects.
You will coordinate housing projects by maintaining liaison with command officials.
You will analyze the effectiveness of program operations to meet established goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
- This position may be occasional exposure to inclement weather, dusty and/or dirty conditions while inspecting housing units or facilities undergoing repair, renovation, or maintenance.
- This position must observe all occupational safety requirements.
- This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing policy/program development including resource planning and development on a wide range of complex management processes, systems, and support programs for Housing programs ensuring high quality, flexible, support program of human services.
