The primary purpose of this position is to exercise 2nd level (or higher) supervisory and managerial authorities over organization. Directs work activities through subordinate supervisors/leads with responsibility for providing advice, accountability, and expertise to higher management and/or senior leadership on a continuous basis.
Duties
Exercises 2nd level (or higher) technical and administrative supervisory personnel management responsibilities over subordinates predominately in the General Administrative, Clerical, and Office Services Group and at the journey level or higher.
Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
Participates in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments.
Identifies the need for special projects and initiates milestones and goals.
Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

- The employee must, within 30-days of assuming this position and by 31 October annually, thereafter, file an OGE-450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report. Employee is required to attend annual ethics and procurement integrity training.
- The duty location for this position is Tinker AFB, however, this position is eligible for maximum telework flexibilities. Telework options can be negotiated and implemented after entrance on duty
Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series 0301. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-03, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-13 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience in planning, organizing, and overseeing the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and logistics related objectives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems
applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to
resolve problems; and all aspects of support.
2. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.
3. Ability to plan, organize, and direct, mentor, motivate and appraise the staff of a small to medium sized
organization.
4. Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate
options.
5. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program
requirements and objectives within available resources.
6. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
