Duties
Space Systems Command is the birthplace of U.S. Space Force's ballistic missile and military space program and is the center of acquisition excellence for acquiring and developing military space systems. Our portfolio includes the Global Positioning System, military satellite communications, defense meteorological satellites, space launch and range systems, satellite control networks, space based infrared systems, space situational awareness capabilities and the national space test and training complex. The Assured Access to Space Launch Enterprise Space Systems Command is the birthplace of U.S. Space Force's ballistic missile and military space program and is the center of acquisition excellence for acquiring and developing military space systems. Requirements
- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise; must obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance for the position.
- Employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall. May be required to report to work during base exercises, contingencies, or emergency situations.
- The employee must be currently eligible to be selected for a warrant in the amount of $5M or greater as specified in the Air Force Supplement to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (AFFARS) 5301.603-2-90
- This position is eligible for telework up to 80% of the time.
- PCS funding is available.

Education
Must have received a baccalaureate degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees with at least 24 semester credit hours (or the equivalent) of study in any of the following disciplines: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods and organization and management.
