About the Position: This Supervisory Managment Analyst postion is located at U.S. Army Operational Test Command, G8 Manpower & Civ Pay Div with duty station of Fort Cavazos, TX,
Duties
Serves as Supervisory Management Analyst, Manpower and Payroll Branch within the Operational Test Command's G8 Directorate.
Performs all planning, programming, administrative, and analytical duties associated with force development and manpower management programs for the command.
Develops and directs major plans to bring the organization in line with ongoing ATEC efforts to restructure and downsize while retaining mission capability.
Reviews and analyzes base TDAs and the preparation and maintenance of manpower management reports.
Provides manpower and management consultation and assistance to the command staff.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience which includes: Conducting management studies with organization functions, work processes, procedures and reviewing manpower management reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11/NH-02).
