You will serve as the Advanced Concepts Development Center Lead at the China Lake Range Department (DB1000M) of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will develop plans and make written and oral presentations to Department leadership and stakeholders on project status, technical problems, scheduling, and costs.
You will will review and evaluate contractor performance for conformance to established criteria.
You will provide overall direction, coordination and management of all facets and functions of projects and programs which fall under the Advanced Concepts Development Center portfolio.
You will serve as the senior project lead for large technical projects and/or programs aligned to the Department advanced concepts business investments and initiative.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DA-05) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1) Analyzing and decomposing complex technical requirements and developing implementation plans; 2) Communicating technical and non-technical information across diverse audiences; 3) Creating and maintaining coalitions across multiple organizations to achieve maximum results; 4) Performing work pertaining to the Test and Evaluation discipline.
