You will serve as a Security Assistant in the Mission Support Division, Code 121300 of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
Duties
You will monitor and control the operations of the central alarm system that monitors fire, utility, duress and intrusion detection alarms generated from storage and secure areas.
You will monitor the NRL closed Circuit Television security system.
You will handle emergency situations and prioritize and dispatch the appropriate law enforcement.
You will provide customer service when receiving incoming emergency and administrative phone calls.
You will utilize a variety of telecommunications equipment including digital and analog radios, telephones, computer systems, and databases.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-01/04 grade level or pay band (NC-01) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following: (1) Performing administrative office support function. 2.) Maintaining cooperative working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and customers 3.) Operating a variety of communication and security equipment such as radios and multi-line telephone systems; AND 4.) Operating automated databases to support office and security operations.
