Requirements

  • Probationary Period: This is a full-time permanent position (Career/Career-Conditional appointment). Upon appointment to this position, you may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
  • Typing: You must be able to type 40 words per minutes with 3 or fewer errors.

You qualify for the GS-06 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-05 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Performing clerical supporting work; Utilizing computer software (to include spreadsheets, databases, and graphics) to produce, store and retrieve a variety of office documents and/or reports; Utilizing and maintaining a record keeping process; receiving calls and visitors and referring them to the appropriate person or office; and Conducting training throughout the office on administrative policies and procedures. You qualify for the GS-07 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-06 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Performing quality checks regarding clerical support work; Utilizing computer software (to include spreadsheets, databases, and graphics) to produce, store and retrieve a variety of office documents and/or reports; leading periodic training to ensure compliance with policy and procedures for office personnel; and Making arrangements for travel, meetings, conferences, and the required scheduling of events.
