About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, Directorate of Logistics located at Tripler Medical Army Center, HI. Hawaii on the island of Oahu.
Federal employees in Hawaii are currently entitled to receive a 9.28% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. This is subject to change.
Duties
Serve as a Government Purchase Card Cardholder ordering officer following all standard operating procedures and adhering to all Federal, Department of Army, and local regulation. Policies and procedures.
Maintain a transaction log or each order.
Serve as senior supply technician and point of contact for property book requisitions and expended non-medical requisitions.
Provide a full range of support to Hand Receipt Accounts.
Initiate and processes purchase requests.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A 1-year probationary period may be required.
- This position is designated as Mission Essential and will be expected to make every attempt to report for duty on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather and/or hazardous conditions.
- This position may require to travel up to 5% of the time.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.

Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience applying standardized supply regulations, policies, procedures or other instructions related to supply discipline towards daily tasks and using automated supply databases to enter, correct and retrieve recurring reports as well as to structure and retrieve specialized reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
