About the Position: As a Program Manager for the Northwestern Division (NWD) Sentinel Integrated Project Office (IPO) you will be responsible for developing and directing a USACE enterprise-wide team to manage the execution of large, complex, schedule critical, one-of-a-kind Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (IBM) projects.

Duties

Provides technical and programmatic guidance to a team of technical experts. Gives advice, counsel, or guidance to subordinate team members on both work and administrative matters. Policy formulation, planning, programming, and budgeting; program oversight and troubleshooting; reporting; coordination and quality management. Forecast future design and construction effort for the execution of projects. Develops and manages program budgets. Reviews selected planning documents, projects, and programs that may have regional or national significance to assure product schedule, cost, scope, acquisition plan and quality is consistent with commitments.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security (Tier 3) Clearance at time of appointment.
  • Incumbent may be required to travel up to 25% of the time for TDY.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Experience with developing future investment priorities, budget requests and data in support of congressional appropriations and allocating appropriated funds; 2) Experience with developing and implementing strategic planning processes; 3) Experience using program management techniques, methods and practices to address complex organizational issues; AND 4) Experience leading a team, outlining objectives, and resolving priority conflicts. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
