About the Position: As the Sentinel Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing and directing a US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) enterprise-wide team to manage the execution of large, complex, schedule critical, one-of-a-kind Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) projects.
Duties
Serves as the NWD Sentinel Program Management lead authority and consultant responsible for the overall guidance, development, presentation,
defense and accomplishment of complex current and long-range Sentinel programs and projects.
Oversees all phases of the Sentinel mega-program to ensure integration and coordination within established time frames and maintains corporate
goals and objectives, consistent with commitments and policy as well as measurable performance criteria.
Serves as the responsible spokesperson with the project sponsors and stakeholders.
Performs a variety of personnel management duties consisting of formulation of policies and procedures; planning for personnel staffing consistent with projected workload; and scheduling and coordinating work of the Division.
As the technical authority for NWD Sentinel IPO program management and project oversight, is responsible for organizational representation and
professional leadership.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security (Tier 3) Clearance at time of appointment.
- Incumbent may be required to travel up to 25% of the time for TDY.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Experience with developing future investment priorities, budget requests and data in support of congressional appropriations and allocating appropriated funds; 2) Experience with developing and implementing strategic planning processes; 3) Experience providing guidance, direction, and coordination of multiple organizations across multiple locations developing long-range program plans, goals, objectives and milestones; 4) Experience working in a complex organization with many internal/external stakeholders; 5) Experience using program management techniques, methods and practices to address complex organizational issues; 6) Experience developing staff and promoting a diverse and respectful work environment; AND 6) Experience effectively facilitating the resolution of complex issues with diverse stakeholders and senior leaders.
