This position is part of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Department of Energy. As a Management Analyst, you will serve as works in close coordination with the CFO's Resource Management Office (RMO) and serves as liaison between the Directorates and the RMO and CF Front Office.

- I understand that this position is approved to work remotely full-time, but that if selected I must reside within a realistic commuting distance of the DOE Worksite(s) specified in the vacancy announcement
- While I will not be required to report to the DOE Worksite every pay period, I understand that I may be required to do so with some regularity (e.g., a few times a quarter) for work that cannot be performed remotely.
- Further, I understand that, if selected, I will be required to sign a remote work agreement after entry into the position.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Assisting in execution of human capital management activities.
Developing and executing the records and data management activities.
Developing and implementing budget execution, financial reporting, contracting and procurement functions.
Advising senior management on human resources and workforce planning, facilities, project, and program management policies
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time-in-Grade: Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration.
CTAP/ICTAP candidates: To be considered "well qualified" you must (1) meet all of the requirements as described in this section; and 2) be rated "well-qualified", which is defined as having a score of 85 or better.
