This is a Career/Career-Conditional Full-time appointment.

Duties
Personnel Managment - supervise up to 12 employees directly, ranging from WG-8 and WS-7 maintenance workers and leaders and animal packers, and up to 54 indirect seasonal employees ranging from WL-7 to WG-3 trail maintenance workers.
Financial Management - maintain operational and special projct budgets including current year and future project budgets and programming.
Program Management - responsible for the seasonal maintenance and planning and operation of all Park Trails including all supporting programs and resources.
Maintenance Duties - perform duties in the field with subordinate staff and crews related to trail maintenance, operation, construction, and preventative maintenance.
Safety and Risk Management.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability to Lead or Supervise (SCREEN OUT)
Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc.
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. (includes blueprint reading)
Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment
