About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Duties

Monitor production workload to ensure production shops meet daily quota. Analyze data concerning labor, parts, costs, production requirements, schedules, etc. to validate program expenditures. Perform cost allocations in accordance with the workload to production shops. Provide feedback to Master Scheduler on production schedules requirements and attainment. Conduct quality control checks on work in progress to ensure production is on schedule. Review shop operations to determine defected data.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
• Must obtain and maintain a Personnel Background Investigation (NACI).
• May be required to travel (TDY) 10% of the time for business purposes.
• Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years and can be made permanent without further competition.
• Temporary appointment may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years but cannot be made permanent.
• Temporary reassignment may be made or extended at management discretion.
• Can be made permanent without further competition.
