Duties

You will serve as a Lead Financial Management Analyst for Naval Special Warfare Center (NSW Center). You will perform a wide range of financial management duties including formulating, presenting, justifying, and executing the budget for NSW Center and subordinate commands. You will make projections and direct reprogramming actions to maintain a balanced budget. You will coordinate with staff to ensure compliance with established processes, policies, and auditability standards. You will ensure the organization's strategic plan, mission vision and values are communicated to the team.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Formulating, presenting, justifying, and executing the budget; AND leading development, determination, and interpretation of budgetary policies and practices.
