This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in the Realty (TERR) organization of Real Property Services (TER), Transmission Engineering & Technical Services (TE), Transmission Services (T), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).
A successful candidate in the Supervisory Realty Specialist position will serve as a senior realty specialist and technical authority responsible for property acquisition, management, and disposal work within the BPA realty program.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service. Specialized Experience is defined as: Experience applying real estate principles, concepts, and practices 1) to provide technical advice on the long-tern comprehensive planning and execution of realty transactions complicated by mineral rights, the regulations of competing governmental entities, or land in environmentally sensitive areas, and 2) examine realty documents, including appraisals, land titles, and property surveys to negotiate the acquisition or disposal of land in complex transactions such as those involving mineral right, the competing interest of multiple stakeholders, or land in environmentally sensitive areas.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
