You will serve as a INVENTORY AND MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER in the Department of Navy, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & IMF, Shop 99 of PSNS and IMF.
Salary range:
GS-7: $51,934 - $67,514
GS-9: $63,526 - $82,580
Duties
You will perform role of subject matter expert for the transit of non nuclear materials which complies with all procedures and protocols related to the movement of materials, and ensures proper protection of all items during transit.
You will provide technical and administrative advice and guidance as required to resolve problems and maintain continuity of work.
You will analyze, plan and execute cradle to grave supply and inventory management functions for a wide variety of non nuclear materials generated across the enterprise.
You will participate in audits conducted by C/600 Asset Management Group by serving as a SME on the cataloging, inventory and movement of non materials.
You will select, modify and implement methods and procedures covering the custody, inventory, transfer and storage of materials both asses and non asset.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- The incumbent is required to successfully complete course and qualifications related to the management and handling of non-nuclear materials, and maintain up to date certifications documenting completion.
- Courses include (but are not limited to) the following: EFEMS, JML 2, Excel 1, 2, and 3, MRQT, MAT.
Qualifications
FOR THE GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, planning and execution of cradle to grave supply and inventory management functions to support the supply operations of an organization.
FOR THE GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing assistance in inventory management functions to support the supply operations of an organization.

FOR THE GS-09:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree

-Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

-Completion of a LL.B. or J.D., which is related to the duties of this position;

-A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
FOR THE GS-07:Successful completion of 1 full year of graduate level education

Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement
