Duties
Serves as the Retail Inventory Accuracy Officer (IAO) for DLA Distribution Puget Sound (DDPW).
Serves as the key Point of Contact (POC) at the assigned activity for collaboration with the Regional Inventory Accuracy Officers, and with other senior inventory management personnel
Collaborates on causative research and pre-adjustment research.
Coordinates inventory sampling, scheduling, and analysis to include counts, surveys, denials, in-transit research, item data and stock record maintenance to ensure material accountability
Analyzes trends, identifies problems and develops recommendations for improvement.
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory General Supply Specialist your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Collaborates on causative research, pre-adjustment research, and coordinates inventory sampling, scheduling, and analysis to include counts, surveys, denials, in-transit research, item data and stock record maintenance to ensure material accountability.
Identifies physical inventory adjustment trends and repetitive errors occurring below the causative research threshold, and ensures corrective action is taken to preclude recurrence.
Analyzes Performance, Develops Operational Policy, Recommends Improvements: Monitor performance statistics, incoming/outgoing Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs) and reviews location surveys and process reviews/quality audits.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
