As a Program Analyst at the GS-0343-12, you will be part of Office of Field Programs, Office of the Director, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. If selected, you will be responsible for providing a variety of essential services on personnel related matters to the OFP.
Duties
Perform work on confidential and sensitive matters for the Supervisor which involves consultation with Human Resource Specialists.
In charge of all clerical support personnel and is responsible for their effective utilization in supporting the work of the Office.
Provide counseling to administrative support employees on a variety of matters such as time and attendance, office procedures and practice, as well as training and development.
Provide support to OFP Directors, supervisors and other staff by advising on all employment development matters, and coordinates and maintains information related to training and development.
Participate with the Supervisor to implement measures which will enhance overall efficiency, effectiveness, as well as uniformity and consistency in administrative management operations for OFP and Agency Field Offices.

Qualifications
For the GS-12: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS- 11 level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience includes advising and/or counseling individual employees on routine types of work related to personal problems, i.e., indebtedness, financial assistance or emergencies and injuries; conducting studies of anticipated workload and functions; reviewing job applications and recommending selections.
Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS- 12 level.
Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements (e.g., time-in-grade and qualification requirements) within 30 days of the closing date specified in the vacancy announcement.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
