Duties
Serves as a Management Analyst in the Industrial Analysis Division (IAD) with responsibility for performing analysis and providing technical support to the IAD staff.
Serves as expert planner, coordinator, and advisor for agency policy on management, administrative, and technical matters.
Provides management information, advice, recommendations, and assistance on a wide variety of projects, issues, and initiatives.

Performs statistical and comparative analysis of related Performance Indicators (PIs) and formulates plans, processes and programs, as needed, to correct adverse trends.
Requirements

Qualifications
To qualify for a Management Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including, time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.
Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Mastery of advance management and organizational principles and practices along with business related policies, goals and objectives.
- Utilizing a wide range of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, both qualitative and quantitative to support the assessment and management of projects and/or programs effectiveness.
- Researching and interpreting program policy, regulations, directives, and procedures to further advise and recommend appropriate action.
- Providing operational direction, mission assistance and staff support through good oral communication and writing skills.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
