About the Position: Serves as the Executive Assistant (EA) for the Senior Executive Service (SES) Tier 1 Deputy Director (Civilian) of the Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response (CHMR), Civilian Protection Center of Excellence (CP CoE), in coordination with Headquarters, Department of the ARMY (HQDA), Office Deputy Chief of Staff (ODCS), G-3/5/7, DAMO-Strategy, Plans and Policy Directorate.
Duties
Control the agenda for, and administer meetings of key staff leaders, and other special ad hoc meetings, conferences, seminars, etc.
Manage a wide variety of policy, staff, and administrative support of a professional and confidential nature.
Provide confidential advice, guidance, and assistance on any issue area for which the Deputy Director requests a need for counsel.
Provide oversight for the development of speeches and presentations, including those involving teleconferencing.
Make presentations on behalf of senior leadership.
Plan and advise senior leaders on strategies and initiatives to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
- You may be expected to travel up to 25% for this position.
