About the Position: This position is located with the US Installation Management Command, US Army Garrison Fort McCoy, Directorate of Public Works, Operations & Maintenance Division at Ft. McCoy, WI. Fort McCoy is located in west-central Wisconsin, midway between Chicago and Minneapolis, just off Interstates 90 & 94. Duties

Prepare documents and maintain information in accordance with quality assurance surveillance checklists and reports. Maintain records and files of contract work being preformed. Create quality assurance surveillance plans, checklists, and reports to assure contractor is performing in accordance with contract documents. Coordinate with customers and contractors to determine the satisfaction of the work preformed. Prepare comprehensive reports detailing information on contractor performance.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Engineering Technology and Finance. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. For consideration at the GS-09 Level: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing contract documents such as cost estimates and contract modifications; monitoring the contractor's performance; reviewing contractor schedules and submittals; reviewing payment requests; or preparing documents or reports utilizing Microsoft Office suite. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08). Applicants who are current Federal employees or who are eligible for Reinstatement may be able to qualify with experience equivalent to the second lower grade, (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Engineering Technology and Finance. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
