This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. This position is located in the Office of Information Services (I) and the incumbent will report to the Chief of Staff. Serves as an administrative analyst in the Office of Information Services in all aspects of administrative issues, including procurement, financial management and human resources.
Duties
As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST, you will:
- Monitor and manage file requests for audits conducted by the Office of Inspector General and Government Accountability Office (GAO).
- Perform records management activities, including tasks related to records inventory and file plan.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of program or project operations.
- Provide administrative support and guidance for financial management activities.
- Serve as a liaison between the division and the servicing human resources office.

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Analyzing program issues and recommending resolution actions in support of agencies and/or internal and external stakeholders; AND
- Applying rules, regulations, policies or procedures in order to determine most effective work processes; AND
- Communicating findings in a clear and well-organized manner to internal and external individuals at all levels of an organization.
OR
EDUCATION: You may substitute education for general or specialized experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M., if related
OR
COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the specialized experience requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the educational requirement must equal at least 100 percent. Only graduate level education in excess of 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours), may be used to combine education and experience.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F):
For the GS-11, you must have been at the GS-09level for 52 weeks.
