About the Position: This position supports the mission of the J8, Financial Operations and it is located in San Antonio, Texas. Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.

Duties

Serves as senior consultant and definitive SME on Military Health Systems (MHS) and DHA policies, MTF operations and healthcare financial data analysis. Perform or oversee performance of impact analysis of various organizational structures, cultures, business processes, personnel policies and medical information systems usage in wide ranging functional data quality areas. Identify, develop and execute "think tank" studies on a variety of health systems topics in support of the Director, DHA and the MHS. Provide recommendations on policies and programs to address major health strategy and policy issues impacting on the MHS, develop alternatives, and recommend courses of action for the Director, DHA. Retrieve corporate performance data from a variety of MHS data query tools to include the MDR, M2, the TRICARE Operations Center (TOC), and other MHS systems. Provide alternatives and recommend courses of action to DHA senior leadership after validating the estimates, projections, forecasts, and conclusions of the studies.
