You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $128,043). The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. .

Duties

You will serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for tactical Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence capabilities, and SIGINT systems/technologies. You will provide test execution and technical support for rigorous testing amidst dynamic locations, Radio Frequency (RF) spectrums/environments. • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and maintaining information technology system security measures for Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems in order to anticipate vulnerabilities and establish information security requirements. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
