This position is located in the Chief Information Officer Organization, Division of Information Technology,  Infrastructure Operations Service Branch, Washington DC office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of information technology (IT) leadership and services in support of the FDIC’s mission.

Duties

Provides technical expertise in developing and supporting Microsoft Power Platform (MPP)  and Enterprise Document Management (EDM) strategies, designs, and solution's to meet a variety of business needs. Develop and maintain MPP target architecture and roadmap; and ensures architecture is captured in standard modeling tools and inventory systems. Responsible for leading the development and maintenance of effective MPP platforms that meet business and technical requirements in accordance with DTCU objectives. Supports project teams by researching EDM, MPP and integration technologies, design and deployment alternatives, and by providing expertise in procurement of products and services.

Basic Requirement:  You must have Information Technology (IT)-related experience which demonstrates proficiency in each of the following competencies: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to meeting the basic requirement stated above, applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 13 level or above in the Federal service as described below. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service.  Specialized experience is experience providing technical expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (MPP) by developing strategies, designs, and solutions to meet a variety of business needs, managing platform architecture and roadmap, and supporting citizen development. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
