This position is located in the National Records Center, Immigration Information and Integrity Branch, Immigration Records Contract Management Section. As an Immigration Services Analyst, you will perform translation of the laws, regulations, policies, and/or practices of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for millions of individuals every year.

Duties

Plan and implement management analysis and technical direction of records program and activities impacting field and Service Center activities or operations. Perform contract oversight activities like statistical research and performance measurement in support of the Records Operations Support Services (ROSS) contract. Recommend solutions regarding contractor performance issues and act as a liaison with onsite management or authorized representatives of the contractor. Facilitate and/or conduct training to USCIS staff and contractors on standardized procedures and processes. Implement and monitor management information systems; Run/develop ad hoc local access databases with queries collecting information from local and agency level systems.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/16/2023. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/16/2023. Selective Placement Factor: You must possess a Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Office Representative (FAC-COR) Level 2. This experience must be clearly documented in your resume. GS-12: You qualify at the GS-12 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Gathering, reviewing, and consolidating information into statistical data; Identifying and recommending solutions to problems related to records management; Performing contract oversight to ensure compliance; Analyzing data from a variety of sources to develop trends, patterns, and studies; Preparing and delivering preliminary and final reports through various mediums (e.g. written, verbal, presentation), tailoring dissemination of information as appropriate for audience.
