The incumbent serves as a Front Line Manager (FLM) within the FAA Logistics Center (FAALC) Product Services Group. This is a leadership position within the FAA Logistics Center that is designed to ensure the highest quality products and services are provided to Logistics Center customers throughout the FAA, interagency, and worldwide.

Duties

The work directed usually includes routine project/program tasks based on established policies, procedures, and guidelines. The incumbent has managerial authority over their organizational segment that provides on-site services required for FAA National Airspace System (NAS) systems, facilities, and other interagency and international customers’ facilities operations worldwide.

  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Qualifications

To qualify for this FV-I (FG/GS-13) position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H (FG/GS-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience leading national service programs staffed with technical workforce teams deployed simultaneously across large geographical areas i.e. the Continental United States (CONUS), and have experience overseeing staff and employees who work with heavy industrial equipment in an industrial setting (i.e. on-site technical field support performing preventative and corrective maintenance, providing emergency restorations on complex electronics systems, and supporting structures). This experience includes allocating resources and infrastructure; directing staff; and customer reporting processes.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.In addition to the Minimum Qualifications, the following has been determined to be a Quality Ranking Factor for this position. This means well qualified candidates will have demonstrated the following:Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): Well-qualified candidates must have demonstrated the ability to integrate customer's key operational program goals, priorities, values, and other factors to the organizational financial and personnel resources plans in applicant's resume.
