You will serve as an Aircraft Mechanic in the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Production Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will perform disassembly, maintenance and repair, and assemble fixed and rotary wing aircraft systems, airframes, components, and assemblies.
You will perform a variety of complex and advanced metal repair, fabrication, plan, layout and structural disassembly/assembly of aircraft and aircraft components.
You will perform repair, fabrication, modification, removal, and installation of composite and/or plastic items, parts, assemblies, and structures.
You will calibrate and install electrical systems, equipment, and accessories on various fixed and rotary wing aircraft, aircraft systems, and aircraft components and assemblies.
Requirements

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

(1) Perform a variety of complex and advanced metal repair, fabrication, plan, layout and structural disassembly/assembly of aircraft and aircraft components; (2) Construct, assemble, and install irregular items/systems and devise complex templates/ patterns into shapes (e.g., rectangular, cylindrical, tapered, etc.); (3) Perform a variety of repair, fabrication, modification, removal, and installation of composite and/ or plastic items, parts, assemblies, and structures and assist other mechanics qualified at a same or higher level for sheet metal mechanics in the full range of their duties; (4) Knowledge of the physical properties and working characteristics of plastic, composite, and compound ingredients with a working knowledge of metals, metal properties, and metal characteristics. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.
