About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain half way between Atlanta, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama, just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Assist the Administrative Officer in coordinating and consulting with division supervisors on administrative matters that affect the directorate workforce. Authenticate and prepare appropriate documentation, request and authorization for temporary travel, local travel, and/or deployments. Serves as a Defense Travel System (DTS), Defense Entry Agent (DEA) and prepares travel orders and amendments in the Defense Travel System (DTS) for ANAD employees on Temporary Duty (TDY) and deployments. Ensures the proper funding source is utilized in the preparation of the orders. Develop travel itineraries outlining aspects of travel/trip.

Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: Prepares travel orders and amendments in Defense Travel System (DTS). Verifies funding availability and prepares cost analysis to determine mode of transportation. Prepares travel vouchers for employees in DTS. Reviews receipts, documents, credit card statements, and hard copy vouchers and inputs the information into DTS. Prepares claims for reimbursements and enters transaction into the Wide Area Workflow.
